Description
Our adventure starts at the well-known Khama Rhino Sanctuary near Serowe. We make our way to Kubu Island on our second day and overnight at the adventure camp. From here we will make our way to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve for three days before heading south to the renowned Mabuasehube, known for its lions in camp. We spend 3 nights in this amazing park before heading back home via Jwaneng and Kopfontein border post. Number of people catered for: 12 pax maximum – 6 x vehicles
Full Itinerary
Day 1: Meet at Khama Rhino Sanctuary
Day 2: Depart for Kubu Island. Wild Camping.
Day 3: From Kubu we make our way to Rakops River Lodge for our overnight stop. Refuel.
Day 4: Travel to Matswere Gate and make our way to Motopi Campsite. Wild Camping.
Day 5: Motopi Campsite. Wild Camping.
Day 6: We make our way to Kalahari Rest Stop near Kang. Refuel and restock.
Day 7: We enter Mabuasehube and spend the next 3 nights in this little paradise known for it’s resident lions. WILD CAMPING.
Day 8: Spend the day relaxing and exploring the park.
Day 9: Today is our last day in the park. You are welcome to either relax in camp or explore the park some more.
Day 10: Sadly it is time to start making our way back home again.
Please note that you have to be fully self-sufficient for this adventure as 95% of our camping is wild camping even though we are in parks. There are no facilities.
Approximate distance to travel is around 2000km round trip from Jhb and back.
Limited to 6 vehicles. Price based on two pax per vehicle. Single supplement is 50%.
