Witness the Wildebeest and Zebra migration on Luiwa Plains, the black lechewe and shoebill storks of the Bangweulu Swamps and the bat migration in Kasanka!
Day 1: Saturday 21 November, we depart from Jhb to Nata, Elephant Sands Botswana. It will be a long day in the saddle OR you could meet us at Nata on the 21st. (940km)
Day 2: Sunday 22 November we drive to Kazangula and overnight at Senyanti. (242km)
Day 3: Our trip starts officially on Monday 23 November. We cross into Zambia and drive to Kabula Tiger Lodge. (208km)
Day 4: From Kabula we make our way to Kalabo, overnight at Kwale camp. (350km)
Day 5: Kwale Camp – Katoyana Camp Luiwa Plains. (85km)
Day 6: Katoyana Camp – Luiwa Plains
Day 7: Luiwa Plains to Roy’s Camp, Kafue.(500km)
Day 8: Kafue – Mumbwa – Mkushi. (480km)
Day 9: Mkushi – Bangweulu Swamps. (230km)
Day 10: Bangweulu Swamps.
Day 11: Bangweulu Swamps – Kasanka National Park. (200km)
Day 12: Kasanka National Park.
Day 13: Kasanka – Kabwe. (375km)
Day 14: Kabwe – Lusaka – Kafue -Monze. (354km)
Day 15: Monze to Livingstone. (official end of adventure) (310km)
Day 16: Livingstone – Francistown. (550km)
Day 17: Francistown – Johannesburg. (750km)
You need to be fully self-sufficient for this adventure. There are enough places to re-stock along the way.
This is going to be the adventure of a lifetime and is NOT to be missed!!
